Traveling comes with an energizing realization that all along you have lived in an enclosed cave and that you need to see more about the diverse cultures and inventions the world has to offer. I have explored several destinations and in all these trips I made sure to document my awesome moments. If you are looking to enjoy an amazing vacation, here are my favorite travel destinations that I think you might want to explore as well.
1. Athens, Greece
Athens is known for many stories as home to Athena, the wisdom goddess. This is a city that has a lot of historical landmarks that you will enjoy to explore and one that I found interesting is the Athena’s Temple, which I also suggest you visit to learn more about the ancient history of the people of the city.
2. Milan, Italy
I also place Milan among the most interesting cities that you could choose to visit. It is an awesome destination that brings alive a blend of the modern lifestyle and the historical preservation of the ways of life of the people that occupied this region. I also had good times at art galleries and museums like Brera Art and The Duomo.
3. Istanbul, Turkey
It is after I visited Istanbul that I learned that it offers a vital link between the East and Europe. This is a place where you will be served a blend of different cultures at bazaars, bathhouses, bars, and galleries. Some of the most popular places you should consider visiting include the Grand Bazaar, Aya Sofya Monument, and Istanbul Archaeology Museums, which I found to have great archeological information.
4. Rome, Italy
Another of my favorite destinations that you might want to visit is Rome. The city serves as a vital link in the history of religion and this is where the Catholic Church has embedded its roots. While at Rome I took some time to visit Vatican City and The Colosseum, places that helped me appreciate the beauty of life and enhance my spirituality.
5. Sozopol, Bulgaria
Like many of my favorites, Sozopol offers an awesome blend that brings out the great culture of its people and the major historical artifacts that spell clearly about the ancient way of life. Its seaside is the most important part of this destination that I will want to experience once again.
6. Vienna, Austria
Undoubtedly, Vienna is among my favorite destinations that travelers to Europe should also consider. Its highlights include the most beautiful boulevard and more particularly I found the buildings, palaces, and parks a fascinating presentation. For the young traveler, this is a place packed with lots of fun activities.
7. Stari Grad, Croatia
Stari Grad is a destination I remember for its seduction and the connection it injects with nature that still lay active in my mind. It has several heritage sites including the UNESCO-recognized Stari Grid. It offers a fine environment for relaxation and exploration not forgetting the culture of its locals is admirable and welcoming.
